Two of the three lanes of the M5 southbound between Junctions 3 and 4, near Halesowen, were closed after the caravan, which had overturned, was involved in a collision on Sunday.

Emergency services were on the scene, said National Highways. Traffic was congested for up to three miles behind the scene of the crash.

Traffic was stopped completely while the caravan was recovered, and all lanes were open again by about 2pm.
