A public right of way is set to be closed due to damage caused by badgers.
Dudley Council has made an order to close the right of way between Hospital Lane and Elmdale Road, Coseley.
The closure will remain in force until November 1, or until the works are completed, whichever comes first.
An alternative route for pedestrians will be in place via Hospital Lane, Providence Row and Elmdale Road, and vice versa.
Access to properties and for emergency services will be maintained where safe to do so.
