Two hurt in crash near Bridgnorth

Two people were treated for their injuries after emergency services attended a two-car crash near Bridgnorth.

Fire crews from Bridgnorth attended the smash at Morville Heath at around 8.20pm on Tuesday.

West Midlands Ambulance service also attended the scene.

There were no people trapped so the fire crews handed over to the ambulance service to deal with casualties.

A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a two-car collision on the A458 in Morville Heath at 8.20am yesterday, one ambulance attended the scene.

"On arrival we discovered two patients who required assessment. They were both able to be discharged at the scene with minor injuries."
