Staffordshire Police have sent out a message on Twitter to inform people living in Brownhills, Cannock, Rugeley and Stafford that a large medical grade oxygen tank will be making its way along roads in the area.

The tank, which is owned by industrial gases company Air Liquide, is being transported across Staffordshire from Cheshire, starting at 11am on Monday, June 15.

The movement of the tank is scheduled to take five days, passing through Talke, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stafford, Rugeley, Cannock, Brownhills, Four Oaks, Shenstone, Hints, Fazeley and Drayton Bassett.

It is scheduled to complete its journey just before junction nine of the M42, near The Belfry.

West Midlands Roads have also put out a tweet to warn drivers using the A452 Chester Road to expect delays.
