Driver taken to hospital after crash near Stourbridge

One person has been taken to hospital after fire crews were called to a crash near Stourbridge.

Crews from Stourbridge and Kidderminster Fire Stations attended the scene on Birmingham Road near Hagley around 5.15am.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire Control said: "Two fire engines and eight crews in total were called to the incident.

"They found a car at the side of the road which was on all four wheels, with the driver still inside.

"Crews assisted the driver out of the car and made the vehicle safe, with the driver being taken to hospital by ambulance with unspecified injuries".
