Bus stops M to P at the bus station in St Paul's Street will be out of use.

The work for National Grid Gas is scheduled to last for a week.

Transport bosses have warned that there will be a number of changes to services while the work in St Paul's Street takes place.

Services 19, 40 and 41 will now operate from outside The Walsall Partnership in Hatherton Road.

For services 69, 70 and 70A, passengers should go to stop WE outside the Co-op building in Hatherton Road.

Service 29 will operate from stop WJ in Bridge Street, whilst service 26 will operate from Stand L within the bus station.

Steve Swingler, spokesman for West Midlands transport authority Centro, said: "It will be difficult for buses to access those stands during the roadworks so they have had to close."

A one-way system will operate, in St Paul's Street, between its junctions with Hatherton Road and the Townend island near Tesco.
