Virgin Galactic, the spaceflight arm of Richard Branson’s firm, has launched a phone and virtual reality-friendly website with Microsoft’s browser, Edge.

The new site lets visitors tour the company’s fleet using Microsoft’s VR headset and motion controllers.

If you don’t have any VR gadgetry yourself, you can take a normal 360 degree tour on the new website instead.

Virgin Galactic’s chief astronaut trainer, Beth Moses, said: “When people come to the website for the first time, I want them to realise that anything is possible.

“They can touch it and see it and immerse themselves and play.”

The spaceflight company is developing craft for private astronauts and scientific researchers.
