FYI, it’s a three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow in Rainham…

What do you do when you want to go to a house viewing, but it’s not taking place a convenient time for you?

Check it out via Facebook live, of course.

Well, that’s the idea behind a trial from estate agents Housesimple. The house on offer is a three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow in Rainham, and the agents say it could become the first home in Britain to be sold with a viewing on Facebook live.

The East London property is being sold by homeowner Shanty Helim. It’s currently valued between £470,000 and £475,000.

After the livestream – which will be hosted by Helim – at 1pm on June 22 on Housesimple’s Facebook page, offers can be made by keen property-buyers via the Facebook Messenger app.

Helim, who was chosen from Housesimple’s customer database to take part in the Facebook live trial, said: “Arranging a viewing over Facebook Live seemed to me the perfect way to allow potential purchasers to ask me questions, look around the house, and make an offer, in a much more convenient way.”

So, what do you reckon – would you bid for a house without actually snooping around it? We can’t help but think it would be kinda tricky to get a feel for the place over Facebook…
