James Rossiter, senior auction valuer at Bond Wolfe, said whilst consent exists to create a five-bedroomed property, the size of the plot might also make it suitable for redevelopment, subject to further planning permission.

“The proposed accommodation with planning permission granted would have two side extensions to create a large entrance hall, three reception rooms, open plan kitchen diner, laundry room and toilet downstairs.

“On the first floor would be a gallery landing, four bedrooms, two with a ‘Jack and Jill’-style bathroom, a family bathroom and store cupboard, while the second floor would have a master bedroom with en-suite and walk in wardrobe.”

Lupin Farmhouse is located between Kings Bromley and Alrewas, which are both villages and parishes that fall under Lichfield District Council.

The farmhouse will be among 179 lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which starts at 8.30am on Thursday, October 23

The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
