Walsall Wood company hopes to expand business into vacant church
A Walsall Wood company has submitted plans to take on a local church.

Love Joes, a food manufacturing company based in the area, is looking to move its admin side of the business into the vacant Ebenezer Methodist Church on Lichfield Road.
Agent Paul Clifton Associates said Love Joes has outgrown its space within the current premises on the Empire Industrial Estate.
The existing church has a main hall and two smaller ones, toilets, store room and a kitchen.
If the change of use application is approved by Walsall Council, the main hall will become an open plan office with the two smaller halls becoming a board room and meeting room.
No proposals have been made to change the building’s interior or exterior, bar minor repairs.
A decision is expected to be made later this month.
