20-home development planned or vacant land near Stourbridge
Plans have been lodged to build nearly 20 homes on vacant land near Stourbridge.
Ruskin Properties Limited have submitted an application to Dudley Council to build 17 dwelling on land off Hickman Street to Timmis Road, in Lye.
A design and access statement, submitted with the plans, states: "Our proposal seeks to release the site’s development potential and create a new, high quality, residential environment sitting harmoniously with the existing housing and commercial uses.
"It will create a new, high quality, residential development that makes better use of a vacant site and its sustainable location and is a chance to deliver a scheme which enhances the townscape."
A decision on the plans will be made in the coming months.
