Plans to build homes at Seven Cornfields have sparked anger

Barratt Homes says the site at Seven Cornfields, which borders Sedgley, could represent a "suitable location for development".

Originally, the proposals were for homes across the South Staffordshire and Wolverhampton border.

But now Barratts says it is just looking to build homes on the Wolverhampton side, behind the Ramada Park Hall Hotel.

About 400 responses overwhelmingly objecting the proposals were handed into Wolverhampton Council earlier this month, after Wolverhampton South East MP Pat McFadden launched a survey.

Campaigners have been fighting the proposals since they became public knowledge in September.
