Technology-laden truck is expected to be revealed at the end of the year

The new pick-up is slated for a full reveal later in the year

The reveal of the all-new Tesla Model Y was one of the biggest new model releases for 2019, but just after its public unveil Tesla teased another all-electric vehicle due to arrive shortly.

After the new crossover was revealed, the end credits from the 1982 classic film Blade Runner played in the background. Around a minute in, an image was flashed up for a few seconds showing a brief glimpse of Tesla’s new pick-up.

Though the released image is vague, it could show an illuminated front section of the pick-up, complete with Tesla badging on the nose. However, some online commentators have said that it looks more like the bed section of the truck, with illumination for the load area.

According to Autoblog, the new vehicle will feature load-levelling suspension, and be large enough to seat six people. As well as this, it’ll be able to deliver a claimed 400 miles on a single charge.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk had previously commented on the new model, saying that it would have a “really futuristic-like cyberpunk Blade Runner” design.

Musk has already said that it’ll be “a pickup truck that can carry a pickup truck.”

As mentioned, we’ll have to wait until later in the year to see what the vehicle looks like in full.
