Three additional models have been introduced to Renault’s EasyLife format, which offers a ‘straightforward choice of trim levels’ to potential customers.

The Scenic, Grand Scenic and Koleos have had their offerings streamlined to provide a less cluttered model line-up – with the Scénic models getting three trim options, and the Koleos coming with two specs.

Renault now offers Scenic in Play, Iconic and Signature guises, while the Koleos is now offered in Iconic and GT Line form.

On both the Scenic and Grand Scenic, standard equipment from Play models include 20-inch alloy wheels, a seven-inch infotainment display with smartphone connectivity, climate control and rear parking sensors, with the mid-range Iconic adding front sensors, the R-Link2 infotainment system and a sliding centre console.

For the top-end Signature trim, Renault offers a head-up display, panoramic sunroof and one-touch folding rear seats – with the Grand Scenic getting the system for both the second and third row.

Scenic customers can choose between the 1.3-litre TCe 140 petrol engine or 1.5-litre Blue dCi 120 diesel – both of which are paired to a six-speed manual transmission.

For the Koleos, Renault fits the base Iconic trim with a rear parking camera alongside front and rear sensors, blind spot warning, climate control, a seven-inch touchscreen with R-Link2, partial leather upholstery, 19-inch alloys and automatic lights and wipers.

GT Line models build on this with LED headlights, leather upholstery, heated front seats, an automatic tailgate and an 8.7-inch touchscreen.

Only one engine is provided with the Koleos – a 2.0-litre dCi diesel producing 173bhp, paired up to a seven-speed automatic with either two- or four-wheel drive.

The revamped Scenic line-up starts from £21,390 and £23,190 for the Grand Scenic – both reduced by £620 to the previous version. The Koleos starts from £27,495 – £550 less than before.

Renault has opened the order books for the revised Scenic and Grand Scenic range, while prospective Koleos customers will have to wait till November.
