Ford dealers in Europe will now be able to service and supply parts for all makes of cars thanks to the introduction of its new Omnicraft brand.

The new brand will allow skilled Ford technicians to work on any vehicle brand, and makes dealerships one-stop parts providers.

The Omnicraft brand has come from the Ford Customer Services Division.

John Cooper, vice president for Ford Customer Services Division, said: “Omnicraft is the first new brand offered by FCSD in more than 40 years and is an important growth opportunity for dealerships as they will be able to sell parts and offer service for all vehicles.

“Omnicraft is a significant benefit to our Ford dealers as they compete in the fastest growing segment of the overall vehicle aftermarket’s business.”

Ford is focusing on developing the most-requested parts for the launch of the Omnicraft brand, stocking items such as oil filters, brake pads and discs, as well as starter motors and alternators. The manufacturer has also said that it will soon be able to supply engine and cabin air filters, along with brake master cylinders among other parts.

From launch, Omnicraft parts will be available to customers from more than 4,000 Ford dealerships across 11 markets in Europe. The manufacturer will also be offering its Motorcraft range of replacement parts for older Ford vehicles, too.
