Police investigate serious crash in Bewdley

Police have now launched an investigation after a serious crash in Bewdley.

West Midlands Ambulance was called to the scene in Lower Park, Bewdley, at 2:10am

The collision happened at around 2am on Monday when a blue Audi A4 convertible hit a wall in Lower Park.

The driver of the vehicle, a woman in her 40s, and a passenger, a man in his 30s, sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Paramedics also attended and said the man in the car was in a serious condition with "multiple injuries".

If anyone witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the incident, they should call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 27 of September 9 2019.
