Toddler rescued from locked car by firefighters

Firefighters had to carefully smash a car window to save a toddler who was locked in a car in Kidderminster.

Staff were scrambled from Bromsgrove Fire Station to save the child

Bromsgrove Fire Station was called at 2.35pm yesterday on Sunday to reports of a two-year-old trapped in a car.

Hereford and Worcestershire Fire Service confirmed their staff had completed the mission successfully without hurting the child.

The fire service tweeted: "Bromsgrove Fire Station mobilised to a two-year-old child locked in a car, in Kidderminster, child released from car via safely breaking rear window."
