Wednesfield police station barrier vandalised
A man has been arrested after a police station barrier was vandalised in Wolverhampton.
The man, 57, allegedly damaged the security barrier after turning up at Wednesfield police station to report a lost beer can, but became frustrated when the station was closed.
He caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to the car park security barrier, with the damage blocking access to the car park. Wednesfield officers said the man damaged the barrier on purpose.
Wednesfield Police also say, via its Twitter account, that this is the second time the barrier has been damaged and that the man who carried out the vandalism was in breach of an anti-social behaviour order.
Pictures of the barrier, posted on social media, show it has been cracked and dislodged from its normal position.
