Police appeal after elderly targeted in Wolverhampton distraction burglary

Cash has been stolen from an elderly couple's home whilst they were distracted by a group who came to their door in Wolverhampton

The four men targeted their home on Bushbury Lane, Bushbury, at around 11am on Tuesday – and pretended to be able to carry out odd jobs.

They were shown to the garden before two of them managed to get into the house to burgle it, with the culprits escaping with an unknown sum of cash.

The criminals fled in a silver or grey saloon-type car – with officers now launching a plea for CCTV or any information people have.
