Councillor Linda Leach has delivered the Easter treats handed over by Marsella Tonks from The One Stop Shop in Bilston

Marsella Tonks, the 43-year-old boss at The One Stop Shop in Middleway Green, Stowlawn, Bilston, has donated 50 Easter eggs.

These have now been delivered by Wolverhampton Councillor Linda Leach to the Excel Church for distribution to families in need across the Bilston area.

Marsella said: “As a company we were told we could donate to a worthy cause.

"I was delighted to think that the chocolate treats would be going to needy people or children whose families could not afford Easter eggs.

“There are families who might not be able to afford to buy these for their children.

"It is sad to think that youngsters might miss out and not receive Easter eggs.

"I asked Councillor Leach if she would deliver the donated eggs and she very kindly said that she would take them to the Excel Church.”
