Pensioners invited to pick up free Christmas vouchers
Pensioners in a Black Country community have been invited to collect free Christmas gift vouchers.
Bilston Senior Citizens Federation has launched its annual gift voucher scheme to support pensioners in the local area.
From Monday December 7 people can collect £5 vouchers which can be spent at either Dixon's Family Butchers on Church Street or GT Pritchard & Son veg stall in the indoor market.
A total of 1,000 vouchers are available to pensioners who live in Bilston East, Bilston North and Ettingshall.
They are available to pick up from 10am at the rear of The Bilston Strengthening Hub and Crèche.
People are asked to bring proof of age and address. The scheme is run in conjunction with Bilston Rotary Club and the Emma Bussey Trust.
