Car and motorbike crash blocks Wolverhampton Ring Road

A stretch of one of Wolverhampton's busiest roads was closed after a crash.

The Ring Road St Andrews was partially blocked for anti-clockwise drivers after a collision involving a car and a motorbike on Thursday morning.

Police, paramedics and firefighters were pictured at the scene of the crash near Birch Street.

Nobody is believed to have been seriously injured, West Midlands Police said.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "We were called just after 10am on Thursday 29 April to a road traffic collision involving a car and motorbike on Ring Road St Andrews, Wolverhampton.

"Two fire engines from Fallings Park and Tettenhall and 10 firefighters attended and ensured the vehicles and scene were made safe."

The crash happened at around 10am.
