Car crashes onto pavement next to Audi garage in Wolverhampton

A car crashed through railings onto a pavement, missing cars outside an Audi garage by inches.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Raby Street in Wolverhampton at about 11am today.

The driver was assessed at the scene by paramedics but did not need hospital treatment.

Jordan Eggington, spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called by police at 11.01am to a single vehicle road traffic collision on Raby Street in Wolverhampton.

"We sent one ambulance to the scene and assessed one patient, a man who was the driver of the car and he was discharged at the scene.”
