Service to remember lost children
A church will tonight hold an informal service for parents and families of children who died during pregnancy or infancy.
St Joseph's Catholic Church in Willenhall Road, Wolverhampton, will hold the service between 7pm and 8pm.
Father Craig Fullard said anybody affected by the loss of an infant would be welcome at the Wave of Light Service, where the church would be lit by candles and soft music played.
"This is not a formal church service but an opportunity for all affected by pregnancy and infant loss to be together," he said.
Fr Fullard added that people were free to come and go as they pleased during the service, and there would be a prayer station and a book of remembrance for people to write in.
Refreshments will be available.
