The building, part of the Faulkland Street depot, will be demolished in a bid to stop anti-social behaviour on the site.

Work will start in June and is expected to be complete by August, with toilet facilities staying – and being upgraded.

A spokeswoman for Wolverhampton Council said: "We are currently working through the statutory notice process with works set to start in June and complete by August 2019.

“The plans are to demolish the old rundown building and overall give the site a new lease of life as well as upgrading the toilet facilities to reduce anti-social behaviour and improve safety in the area.

“The works have also been designed to cause minimal disruption while the improvement works take place.”

No roads will be affected by the demolition.
