Michael Whinham has been missing since 2015

Michael Whinham, who went missing from Newcastle, was spotted in Wolverhampton near ASDA and the subway leading to the Molineux ground.

An appeal was launched on social media to find Mr Whinham, who disappeared from Newcastle in November 2015 when he was aged 31.

His family wrote in a post: "Michael, we are here for you whenever you are ready.

"We can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe."

It is believed Michael now has a beard, long hair, missing teeth, and is said to be very thin.

Several people have commented on the post on the Finchfield, Penn and Merryhill Neighbourhood watch page on Facebook reporting further sightings in Wolverhampton.
