One man injured in Wolverhampton crash

Two cars were left wrecked after a collision in Wolverhampton.

Emergency Services were called to Bushbury this morning after two cars had collided at the junction of Second Avenue and Fourth Avenue.

One man was taken to hospital after the crash at around 8.50am but his injuries are not believed to be serious.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "One patient was attended to, a man who was the driver of one of the cars.

"He was taken to New Cross Hospital but is not believed to have serious injuries."

Fire crews checked over the vehicles before leaving the scene at around 9.40am.
