Work starts on busy Wolverhampton road
A major roadworks scheme will start at one of Wolverhampton's busiest junctions on Monday.
Drivers will not be able to turn right onto Stafford Street from Cannock Road between 9.30am and 3.30pm on weekdays until the end of August.
Three-way temporary traffic lights will also be in place at the junction as work is carried out installing a new pedestrian crossing. Restrictions will be in place between 7am and 7pm at weekends.
The junction is one of the main intersections heading into the city and traffic queues daily at peak times on Stafford Street and Cannock Road.
