Police want to speak with the two suspects, believed to have been involved in the attack last October.

A 27-year-old man, from Wolverhampton, was left with a bleed on the brain and lost hearing in one ear after being assaulted in the early hours on October 28.

He had been on a night out in the city centre when he was attacked in Broad Street as he tried to stop a fight between two women, police said.

DC Ash Forster said: "The victim sustained a bleed on the brain and was hospitalised for three weeks after being placed in an induced coma .

"He is still receiving treatment and has lost his hearing in one ear. We have been doing other work to identify the suspects to no avail and have now decided to release the images in the hope that someone will recognise them or remember seeing the attack."

Anyone with information should contact DC Ash Forster on 101 ext. 871 3117 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting crime number 20WV/231414W/17.
