Boy hit by lorry on busy Walsall road

A boy was injured after being hit by a lorry on a busy Walsall road near a pub.

The crash happened in Queslett Road, between Pheasey and Streetly, at around 3.50pm today.

Queslett Road was blocked close to the Deer's Leap pub.

West Midlands Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed crews attended the scene.

A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a lorry."
