Lauren Hill, 31, from Pelsall, is an instructor and franchise owner of Sweaty Mama Walsall North.

She launched the company in 2019 as a way for other mums to fit in exercise around their children, by getting them involved too.

At the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, all classes went online through a private Facebook group, although fact-to-face classes briefly resumed they are now back online again.

This has not deterred Lauren from helping to keep her clients fit.

She said: "We still run our core Sweaty Mama and Mamilates classes which are both designed to involve little ones as much or as little as Mamas want to.

"But we now have Dada’s join in too, so we launched our Sweaty @home Programme and alongside our core classes we’ve launched Sweaty Gym.

"This class is a shorter 25-minute high intensity class designed for Mama’s and Dada’s to do around their busy schedules of taking care of little ones, working from home and homeschooling.

"We’ve had such an amazing response to these classes and we leave them available so our families have access to them anytime because as we all know, when children are involved not many things go to plan!"

In the coming weeks, another family centred class is being launched called Sweaty Family.

Lauren added: "This one is more of a fun fitness session for all the kids to enjoy which I will be delivering biweekly alongside my own family.

"I’ve had the most amazing response to the online classes mamas are loving them and so are the dadas the reviews have been so lovely and it makes my job so rewarding knowing that I’m not only helping to keep families sane, fit and healthy during lockdown but they’re loving it too."
