


Firefighters were called to Chase Road in Brownhills at about 12.30am today.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "At 12.32 am Tuesday we were alerted to a severe car fire on the driveway of a house in Chase Road, Brownhills.
"A fire engine crewed by five firefighters responded from Aldridge fire station.
"The fire also damaged the front door and a window of the property, but our crews were able to extinguish it wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reels.
"We were at the scene for around 40 minutes. "
