Firefighters were called to rescue Stacielea Doran when she became stuck in her Bloxwich home.

Dressed in a Beauty and the Beast onesie, Stacielea Doran was left with just her legs and feet hanging from the ceiling after the floor gave way on Friday, but luckily escaped without getting injured.

She thanked the firefighters for their help and sent them off with a box of chocolates.

Stacielea said: "I would like to say a big thank you to all the men that helped me, I felt a little silly I have got to admit and felt like I was wasting their time.

"I couldn’t have met five more amazing men, we all came out with a smile - me being saved and them walking out with a big box a choc thanks lads."

Bloxwich Fire tweeted after the incident saying: "On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me a person in a onesie.

"White Watch crews have responded to a lady who had fallen through the ceiling from the loft whilst retrieving Christmas decorations. Luckily no injuries were sustained."
