Woman taken to hospital as car mangled in Bloxwich crash

A woman was taken to hospital after a car smashed into a brick wall and two stationary cars.

The white car was left mangled after the crash in Lichfield Road, Bloxwich, which saw the woman suffer leg injuries.

The brick wall was also badly damaged, but nobody else was hurt in the smash which happened at around 6pm on Tuesday.

A spokeswoman from West Midlands Fire Service said: "The incident involved one moving car which collided with two stationary vehicles. The car came to rest when it struck a brick wall.

"Two people extricated themselves from their vehicles prior to our arrival and were checked on the scene.

"We worked with police and ambulance to make the scene safe."
