Donations have flooded in to the family of Kate Woodcock, from Aldridge, who worked with F1 champion Lewis Hamilton.

The 30-year-old died when her BMW smashed into a wall on the A452 Chester Road at Stonnall, near Walsall, last month.

Tributes poured in for the model, whose career in F1 took her to exotic locations including Monaco, Singapore and Abu Dhabi.

An online fundraising page was set up and as of yesterday the total stood at £7,295.

Paramedics made desperate attempts to save her but the much-loved model was pronounced dead at the scene, near Stonnall Service Station.

Miss Woodcock spent two years working with four-time world champion Lewis Hamilton as he tasted glory around the world.

She would appear on racetracks ahead of Grands Prix.

Modelling agency SDMPE said on Twitter shortly after her death: “We’d like to take the time out to pay a special tribute to Kate Woodcock.

“We’re deeply shocked and saddened to loose such a lovely, beautiful girl and an exceptional model who shined very bright always.”
