Ellie, 22, has urged people to 'do their thing' to raise cash for charity.

People can don fancy dress for clothes swaps, complete fun runs or host bake sales or sponsored silences for Children in Need.

Money raised will help children and young people in communities across the UK facing a range of disadvantages such as living in poverty, being disabled or ill, or experiencing distress, neglect or trauma.

Ellie, from Aldridge, said: “BBC Children in Need is back again and this year I want to see the whole of UK do their thing for the charity.

"Whether you want to run a marathon, challenge your colleagues to a bake off or wear fancy dress for the day, there are plenty of ways that you can raise money.

"With your help BBC Children in Need will be able to continue supporting projects working with children and young people across the UK."

Other famous faces have also thrown their backing behind the campaign, including Matt Baker, Frankie Bridge, Jim Chapman, Tess Daly, Alex Jones, Scott Mills, Ore Oduba, Louise Pentland, Rachel Stevens, Joe Sugg and Matt Willis.
