The Pleasure Painters will hold the exhibition of more than 100 paintings at Rushall Parish Church between 11am and 3pm.

Bryan Jordan, spokesman for the group, said: "There will be quite a lot of different paintings for sale and on show, about 100 in total.

"The paintings are everything from water colour to pastel and acrylic paintings. Some of the members paint landscapes such as the Cannock Chase, some do portraits, there's quite a mix.

"It's going to be a very nice exhibition.

"We're a small group that meets on a Tuesday and a Friday, we welcome everyone, including beginners, and sometimes have demonstrations.

"If we have enough money we go on days out too."

The group has been going for 15 years and hosted numerous exhibitions over the years.

The group acts as a place for people to learn more about how to improve their painting in a social setting.

The group meets at the church hall in Leigh Road every Tuesday and Friday from 10.30am to 12pm.

Newcomers are welcome to just turn up before the sessions begin. Sessions cost £3 each.
