Man taken to hospital after car smashed into Walsall house
A man was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a house.
The crash took place on Pauls Coppice, in Shire Oak, Walsall, on Wednesday.
The building was left damaged at the front which needed propping up by wooden beams.
Three fire crews were sent to the scene at 9.09pm on the day.
West Midlands Fire Service spokesman Matthew Smith said: "Structural damage has been caused.
"Technical rescue teams are liaising with the structural engineer and property owner to formulate a plan to make the property safe."
Pictures from the scene showed wooden beams supporting the front structure of the house while orange barriers were placed around the outside for public safety.
The tenant of the property did not wish to comment.
