Police appeal after teenager sexually assaulted on Walsall Wood bus

A 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a fellow passenger as she travelled on a bus in Walsall Wood.

The man police want to trace

The girl was on the 10A bus with a friend when she was approached by the man. Police have now released an image of man they want to trace in connection with the assault.

Police said the suspect also made several inappropriate and racist comments to the teenagers and other passengers travelling on the bus along Walsall Wood High Street at around 4pm on 5 July.

He is described as white, Eastern European, with mousey brown spiked hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a grey vest t-shirt.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and quote crime number 20WS/145233Q/17. Anyone who comes forward with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible could be eligible for a reward of up to £1,000.
