Police search for thugs who beat up man in Stone

Police are searching for thugs who left a victim with two broken teeth in an unprovoked attack.

Two men carried out the attack at 2.30am on Sunday (Jan 7) at Sunningdale, Stafford Road, Stone as the victim was on his way home.

The victim's two front teeth were snapped in half and he also suffered multiple cuts, grazes and bruising.

Staffordshire Police are now appealing for information to help find the offenders who are both male, aged between 20 and 25 years old, and 5ft9ins or 5ft10ins tall.

Both of them had their hoods up and one was wearing a puffer style jacket while the second wore a dark hoodie.

After the attack, they both ran off towards Walton Grange, Stafford Road, Stone.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact the police to help them identify the two men by phoning 101 quoting incident number 79 of January 7.
