There will be a licensed bar, a foam pit, UV paint on the route and DJ Rob Bairstow will be getting the party started with some tunes at Beacon Sport & Fitness in Weston Road for Katharine House Hospice on June 8.

Everyone who registers gets a free Neon Night Run technical T-shirt, a free glow in the dark wristband and a finishers medal.

Katharine House Hospice events fundraiser, Lisa Carson said the Neon Night Fun Run is a colourful and symbolic display of supporters’ goodwill towards the hospice.

She added: "We are looking forward to a fabulously luminous summer’s evening.

"This year we will be bringing a real party vibe with our club DJ, foam and supporters decorated in UV paint.”

There is still time to book places at khhospice.org.uk or by calling 01785 270808 during office hours.

Katharine House Hospice provides free care and support for adults and their families who are coping with progressive illness across mid-Staffordshire.

It relies upon the kindness of the local community to help generate over 75 per cent of the funds needed to run its vital range of services.
