The biker crashed with a car in Within Lane, Hopton, near Stafford, just before 9am on Monday.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene and part of the road was closed.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "The motorcyclist has suffered what is expected to be life-changing injuries.
"Police are currently at the scene and have closed part of the road. Enquiries are on-going."
