Body found in search for man, 52, missing from Stafford

A body has been found in the search for a 52-year-old man who went missing from Stafford on Christmas Eve.

The body, believed to be that of Ken Konchalski, was found in a wooded area on Friday afternoon.

A Staffordshire Police statement said: "Our search for missing man Ken Konchalski led us to a wooded area off Bradley Lane, Stafford, where a body was discovered.

"Sadly, we believe this to be the body of 52-year-old Ken, missing from the Stafford area since Christmas Eve.

"Ken’s family have been informed and are being offered the services of specialist officers during this difficult time. Our thoughts and condolences are with them. Formal identification is still due to happen.

"We do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner."
