South Staffordshire ranked fourth royalist constituency in Britain

A district in Staffordshire is considered the fourth-most royalist constituency in England, Scotland and Wales.

South Staffordshire ranked fourth in the list, after an opinion poll out of more than 20,000 people was commissioned by UnHerd.

People in South Staffordshire were asked to give their thoughts on a statement which said: "I am a strong supporter of the continued reign of the Royal Family."

The response saw 67 per cent of people agree - which was 14 per cent above the national average. Only 14 per cent disagreed.

Generally, the most royalist parts of England are in East Anglia, Essex and shires in the south of England, which predominantly back the Conservatives.

Aldridge and Brownhills also came seventh in the list.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, the constituency of Ladywood, Birmingham, was ranked as Ladywood, Birmingham.

The areas where the Royal Family are generally lesser popular is Scotland and large urban areas.
