Zinni Wright, from Lichfield, was with a friend at the American popstar's gig at the Manchester Arena when Salman Abedi detonated a bomb, killing 22 people.

On Sunday, she returned to the city for a memorial concert raising money for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

As well as seeing Grande, there were also performances from Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Take That and Miley Cyrus.

The 14-year-old, who attends The Friary School, was taken by her father David Wright, aged 51.

Mr Wright said: "For her first concert to end in such tragedy, it was important for her to return as part of a healing process.

"I hope she never has to go through such an experience again."

He added: "Dropping her off, I saw police everywhere. The security was certainly on high alert for the concert."
