Hednesford B&M store on the move to old Poundworld shop

B&M will close its store in Hednesford next month before reopening a new store in the former Poundworld site.

The store will close its doors to customers at its Market Street site on November 19.

B&M will then reopen in its new home, in Victoria Shopping Park, on November 28.

The space was previously occupied by Poundworld, which closed its doors to shoppers in August last year.

Bosses at B&M have apologised to Hednesford customers for the inconvenience but have said the new store will be "bigger and better".

Work has been ongoing at the Victoria Shopping Park site over the last few weeks, with residents and shoppers questioning what store would be opening.

A spokesman for B&M said: "Your B&M Hednesford store is moving from its current location at 22/26 Market Street, to its new home at Unit 4, Victoria Shopping Park – former Poundworld.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused while we bring you a bigger and better B&M store.

"Your current B&M Hednesford will close on Tuesday, November 19. Your brand new B&M Hednesford will open at its new site on Thursday, November 28."

It comes a month after B&M opened its new store in Wolverhampton's Mander Centre, on Dudley Street, taking over one floor of the former BHS store.
