Driver stopped after hitting speeds of 125mph on M6 Toll in Cannock

A man is due to appear in court after travelling at speeds of more than 125mph on the M6 Toll approaching Cannock.

Staffordshire Police officers stopped the driver after he came "flying" past their unmarked car on the M6 Toll road earlier today at about 2.20pm.

Central Motorway Police Group shared dashcam footage of the incident, and said: "This driver came "flying" past our unmarked car on the M6 Toll in the Staffordshire Police area where it continued to travel in excess of 125mph.

"Vehicle stopped and driver can now expect a court appearance and possible disqualification."
