Traffic chaos as overturned lorry sheds garden waste on busy Cannock road
A lorry caused traffic chaos for motorists in Cannock after it overturned, spilling garden waste onto the road.
The lorry overturned on the A460, Eastern Way, at around 9am today), near to the Orbital Retail Park.
It was been leaving the nearby recycling centre and spilled garden waste onto the road.
The road was blocked for a short time while Staffordshire Police worked to help recover the vehicle.
Inspector Michael Eyre, from Staffordshire Police, said: "The road was partially blocked as the lorry had tipped over after it was leaving the recycling centre.
"It discharged some of its load, which was mainly garden waste.
"The road was cleared and the company was providing its own recovery."
