Traders are gearing up for a cracking Christmas craft fair this weekend.

The event, at the Roman Way Hotel in Cannock, on Sunday, will showcase the best handmade bespoke items made from local crafters.

It is being organised by Chase Handmade and will feature a plethora of unique gift items including glass jewellery from Emma Kirkham Glass in Hednesford, crystal crafts by Melanie Pickering of Safimel while fellow organiser Cal Summers will be holding paper-cutting workshops.

Other items to look out for will be wooden creations by Michael Taylor, hand-crafted pens by Cliff Buckley, pottery by Gillie Nicholls as well as cupcakes, jams, chocolates, soaps, floral displays, candles, and much more on offer.

For children there will be face-painting as well as a chance to have their picture taken with Disney characters Elsa and Cinderella.

A charity raffle will be held for the Buddy Bag Foundation who provide bags for children entering emergency accommodation.

The event takes place between 10am and 4pm.
