Man rescued from ceiling of Stafford house
A man was rescued by firefighters after he was left dangling in his ceiling following a fall.
Fire crews used rope to pull the man to safety at his home in Highfields, Stafford, on Saturday afternoon.
A Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesman said: "A man slipped whilst working in his loft and became trapped by one leg, which went through the ceiling below.
"Crews used rope rescue skills to perform a safe and controlled release."
